Full Moon in Scorpio

Wednesday, April 23rd, at 5:49 pm MDT/ 7:49 pm EDT, the Moon will become full in the deeply emotional and intuitive sign of Scorpio!

The April Full Moon is called the Pink Moon because it marks the time of this lunar cycle in the northern hemisphere when the first blooms, specifically creeping phlox or "Moss Pink," are seen.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, the Algonquin called it the Breaking Ice Moon, while the Dakota called it the Moon When the Streams Are Again Navigable. These names reflect the cultural significance of this Moon, marking the melting ice and increased mobility of early spring. 

Usually, the Pink Moon occurs in the sign of Libra, which is fitting. But about every 2-3 years, we get one in Scorpio and kick off Taurus Season with a brooding or smoldering bang, depending on how you're feeling.

And we could really use it!

Scorpio energy goes into things with their whole heart, and they are usually 100%  In or 100% Out; Scorpio doesn't know how to do anything they care about halfway. Allow this Scorpio energy to show you how to become completely dedicated to yourself and to who & what you love.

This is our first Full Moon after Eclipse season, and the last two Scorpio Full Moons were both Eclipses. And we are still in the Mercury Retrograde Shadow.

It is a time to reflect, reassess, and recharge.

The energy has a lot of stuff "up in the air" for many right now, which can make it difficult to make solid plans, communicate clearly, or move forward with purpose.

This energy could be challenging you so that you take your power back. Get back to basics, take care of what you know you need to do. Take everything as it comes, and try to handle everything one step at a time and one moment at a time. 

It's an excellent time to reflect back on the last couple of years. What has happened, and how has it changed you, your goals, and your vision?

This time has also shown us when and how to trust your path and the universe. Try to allow what you can't control to work itself out. And when you don't know what to do, do nothing. This is not the time to push or force anything. Trust that it's working out the way it's supposed to. But when faced with a choice, the universe expects an answer.

Please take advantage of the contracting energy before it expands again, and things pick up like they always do!
